This is “Omamori” in Japan. It is a lucky charm for protection. We made this to pray for traffic safety. It is decorated with elaborate embroidery. We always keep this amulet in our minivan.
Incidentally, we have been driving for four years without any accidents or violations, so we are confident in our safe driving!
